Reducing Stigma
Acadia Pharmaceuticals sought to reduce the stigma associated with the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. We partnered with the non-profit organization, StoryCorps to share vulnerable conversations between patients and their loved ones about what it’s like to live with Parkinson’s disease.
My involvement included:
- Vetting and supporting patients in sharing their stories
- Preparing questions for patient conversations and overseeing recordings
- Planning and organizing logistics around in-person activities at Parkinson’s disease awareness events
- Reviewing and making recommendations on video cuts for website publication
- Drafting and editing website copy
